September 'launches', when tv networks try to entice us into new viewing commitments alongside the return to school, have now largely been delayed until after The Queen's funeral.
It's hard, at this stage, to tell if there's been a 'relaunch' at TalkTV with the arrival of new supremo Richard Wallace. Piers Morgan's introductory titles have been massively shortened - on Monday, with a two hour special introduced by a few plaintiff violin phrases, they were even shorter. But it's done nothing for his viewing figures, with an 18,000 average for the first hour, and 10,000 for the second.
