Not quite the full year, but have Nadine Dorries' 356 days as Culture Secretary made the diminishment of the BBC inevitable ? The Tories have given us 10 Secretaries in 12 years so far - Hunt, Miller, Javid, Whittingdale, Bradley, Hancock, Wright, Morgan, Dowden, and Dorries.
(We note Oliver Dowden, in his MP role, has been trying to make the BBC hang on to the whole of Elstree, at least as an employer involved in arts and media, rather than flog it for housing.)
Dorries will go to the Lords; how quickly will she get a contract with GB News or Talk TV ?
