There been a lot of WAVING this week from inside BBC News at new CEO Deborah Turness.
On Today, would-be lead presenter Amol Rajan committed what's believed to be the first quintuple 'give us a sense' in a single item.
Q1 "Can you just give us a sense, please, with some numbers maybe of how tough things are for you right now ?
Community baker says he doesn't expect to be in business next year.
Q2 "Can you just give us a sense, I think let's just talk about, I'm so sorry to hear to hear that, given the amount of time and effort and passion you must have put into the business, can you just give us a sense of some of the numbers you're confronting, why is it that the energy cost going up has basically turned a viable business into one that's not going to be here next year ?"
Q4 "....just give us a sense of what's going on at Bestway - so you're Britain's largest independent food and drink wholesaler. Can you give us a sense of the pressure on your business ?"
Meanwhile, no less than six senior managers, two of them spookily interim, have announced to staff that THEY'RE ACTING ON YOUR FEEDBACK, with interventions called Smart Moves, Career Development Toolkit, Team Leader Network, Leadership Academy, myRecognition and News Staff Network Forum.
And, at News Content, interim boss Richard Burgess has given Orla Guerin the on-air title of Senior International Correspondent. Presumably, if it was a job with more money, there'd have to be an open competition. The modern News Content, Deborah, simply awards new titles.
