In July, the BBC increased its allowance for an evening meal (if you're working away from 'base') from £16 to £22. The new figure was calculated against allowances disclosed by a weird bunch of other organisations, but I expect the Ofcom figure will have given BBC HR some comfort...as would noting a lack of transparency at the NAO.
