Top earner on the staff side of the BBC: BBC Studios CEO Tom Fussell, with a package of £632,000. Tom, 51, (Westminster School and BSc Economics, Bristol) earned a bonus of £210,000 for improving earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization from EBITDA from £151m to £226m.
Whilst the public service side of the BBC cuts jobs, BBC Studios headcount grew from 2,723 to 3,159.
The median gender pay gap in the public service bit of the BBC widened over the year, from 5.2% to 5.9%. At BBC Studios, it's 9.6%, down a tad from 9.9%.
