Nadine Dorries' latest three months of hospitality and meetings as Culture Secretary joyously starts with a dinner with Evgeny Lebedev, the owner of the Evening Standard, ennobled by Nadine's bessie, Boris Johnson.
On the 12th January there was a meeting with BBC DG Tim Davie and BBC Chairman Richard Sharp. At the start of February, there was a lunch with Tim Davie, BBC Editor Politics Katy Searle and Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg - and at the end of the month, a lunch with Richard Sharp.
At the start of March, Nadine met Sir Robbie Gibb, "To discuss the political priorities of the Secretary of State and department". I may be over-sensitive, but this seems to me a conversation beyond the position of a single BBC non-executive.
