Matt Wiessler, the former BBC graphics man who lost his job as a result of Martin Bashir's deception, chose an experienced media lawyer to represent him in discussions with the BBC over appropriate compensation.
He turned to Louis Charalambous, 64, (St. Marylebone Grammar School, BA University of Bradford, MA University of Leeds) of Simons Muirhead Burton, who recently acted for The Sun against Johnny Depp. In 2012, Louis acted for Helen Boaden, Director of News, as she went through the Pollard Review into why Newsnight never ran its report on the activities of Jimmy Savile. Peter Polycarpou played Louis in the 2014 mini-series, "The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies".
