Funny how, at the BBC, it's always the audience that are clamouring for a new branding experience. "They want a modern BBC that is easier to use and navigate to find the content they love and enjoy" says Chief Customer Officer Kerris Bright.
Funny, too, how the new layouts on iPlayer and BBC Sounds seem to follow patterns set by Netflix. Less funny - how the designers of the new icons have played an intellectual game with three rectangles, echoing the three BBC building blocks, in a way that nobody but designers would ever care about. But I guess the Board presentation went well.
