Are we really going to wait another year before RAJAR gets out there and surveys radio listeners ? Surely it's time for our big radio operators to come together and agree a way of sharing some common topline figures about weekly reach.
The existing BBC Sounds Alexa skill has over two million weekly unique users - that's a tad more than RAJAR ever surveys. The BBC, when it set up Sounds, demanded considerable data from such partners, as will have the big commercial networks. Sharing weekly reach to match the general demographics of the UK ought to be ready at a keystroke...
