Disgruntled

It's possible something more than a culture skirmish is fuelling the row over the possible appointment of Jess Brammar back to BBC News as an executive editor.

The job ad was closed back in mid-May, but the new post was created through ( yet another ) restructuring. Often, displaced employees from the old structure are invited to join a pool competing for posts in the new order. Many take the hint, cut a deal and move out. 

But it could be someone internal is annoyed that the process was opened to 'outsiders'.
