The group known as Public Broadcasters International is tentatively planning a conference in Brussels at the end of September.
The BBC's David Jordan, Director, Editorial Policy and Standards, is one of the hosts of the welcome reception, in his new role as Secretary General, PBI. Busy David is also a member of the Executive Board of the Organisation of News Ombudsmen and the Board of the International Press Institute, a Board Trustee of the BBC Pension Scheme and a member of the UK’s Defence, Security and Media Advisory Committee (DSMA). His salary is currently billed as between £180k and £185k, up from £178k the previous year.
