Has the threat of a boycott of advertisers' products had any effect on GB News ? The Daily Express reported a survey, commissioned by GB News, which found that 29 percent of 1000 participants were more likely to watch the channel because of the boycott, compared to 14 percent who said they were less likely to tune in because of it.
The survey was the work of C|T Group, founded in Canberra in 2002 by election strategists Sir Lynton Crosby and Mark Textor. The company expanded into the UK in 2011, in partnership with Mark Fullbrook. The chairman is Robert Champion de Crespigny, an Australian chartered accountant turned mining millionaire.
Crosby and Fullbrook were part of CTF, who were believed to have been paid £4m for work on Theresa May's failed election bid in 2017.
