BBC News is very excited to announce that Americast (a young filly out of Brexitcast via Newscast), so far available as a podcast, is also to be available in vision, on the BBC News Channel, BBC World News and BBC iPlayer, as well as getting an outing on Radio 4 at 11pm on Fridays.
The visuals will be interesting. Early audio-only episodes featured Emily Maitlis from her UK treehouse, with the pet whippet in attendance at the bottom, while Jon Sopel contributed from various dodgy motels. As the tension rises before Tuesday 3rd November, how many BBC London-based employees will be deployed to the States, earning themselves a fortnight's quarantine on their return ?
