Stay where you are

The BBC is not pushing people back into the office. Covid-secure MD Bob Shennan has announced that he's reviewed the current way of working, and decided to extend it til the end of the year. "Each site will have to operate within a certain capacity, prioritising those people in service critical roles, or who need to work from an office location, and those people who are struggling with working remotely. You can continue booking hot desks to work at, but please only travel if it’s absolutely necessary. "

Rationale ? "We have also had confirmed cases in our base in Bristol last week, as well as reported cases and increased testing and we’re seeing spikes in other areas around the country."
