Really stay where you are....

Generally speaking, the BBC likes to observe the letter of law, and then go a bit further with some rules of its own. So "Covid" Bob, the Managing Director, has announced some new restrictions, in Auntie's bid to flatten the second wave...

"For the coming weeks ... hot desks and collaboration areas will now be closed, and visitors will no longer be able to come to our locations. On-air, service critical contributors and contractors can continue coming into our buildings, provided all health and safety measures and relevant risk assessments are followed.  We also need to limit the numbers of people travelling across the BBC, so all non-essential travel within the UK should now be stopped."
