Fans of Sarah Sands will be delighted to learn that she's a Royal Expert, adding to her new portfolio career with a long thumbsucker for Femail in the Mail on Sunday about Meghan and Harry. This springs from her conversations with Harry when he was a guest editor for a festive Today three years ago.
Sarah also parades her talents and availability in a feature interview for The Sunday Times, revealing that she emailed Director of News James Harding after her first shift on Today, saying she didn't think it was going to work out.
She's writing a book about monasteries (what happened to the one about the Queen of Sheba ?), and notes she's been ask to chair 'liberal conservative' think-tank Bright Blue, taking over from her journalistic familiar, Matthew D'Ancona. The think tank is so liberal it includes supporters such as Michael Gove, Alok Sharma, Dominic Raab and Jacob Rees-Mogg.
