Been anywhere nice ?

Two quarters worth of expenses for senior managers have been published alongside the BBC Annual Report.... 

BBC News executive Gavin Allen took in St Petersburg, Washington and New York, and then had a Eurostar trip to the Hotel Bootcamp by Happy Culture ("designed as a Living Lab where entrepreneurs, independents, creators and travellers meet, today or tomorrow") and a visit to a conference in Geneva. 

Director of Radio & Education James Purnell and new Controller Radio 4 Mohit Bakaya visited New York, staying in the gritty Lower East Side at the CitizenM New York Bowery. James' return flight: £1693. Mo's was £497, as was Dan Taylor-Watts, Director of Product for BBC Sounds and iPlayer. 

Head of Popular Factual David Brindley paid £675 for three nights at the Martinique New York on Broadway, part of the Hilton Curio Collection, as did Alison Kirkham, the now-departed Controller of Factual Commissioning. 

Head of TV Current Affairs Joanna Carr took in Washington and New York, with nights at the Fairfax at Embassy Row and the Art House Hotel, New York. 

Jessica Cecil, Head of Business Management, travelled to Mountain View in Silicon Valley, New York and Paris.  

Controller of Digital Distribution Richard Cooper had a £476 stay at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. 

Graham Ellis, from BBC Audio, represented the BBC at meetings in Budapest, Bucharest, Geneva, Rome and Brussels over the six months. 

Bal Samra and Sophie Garnham, from the Business Rights team, stayed at Soho House, Amsterdam and the Art House Hotel New York. 

David Jordan, in charge of editorial policy (unless Lord Hall says he's wrong) shared his knowledge in Helsinki, Stockholm, Brussels and Vienna. 

Former boss of BBC4 Cassian Harrison took a trip to Melbourne for £4k. 

Company Secretary Phil Harrold managed trips to New Delhi, Geneva, Oslo and Nairobi. The return flight to Nairobi was £3296.
