Searching

Where will Tim Davie, incoming DG of the BBC, find his '"Anne Bulford" ?  Mr Davie is thought to want a return of the Chief Operating Officer post, to be his effective deputy, and manage everything except content production.

In the Banijay takeover of Endemol Shine, former CEO Sophie Turner Laing has found herself newly-self-employed. She's 59, and had nearly 6 six years at the top of Endemol's UK operations. She also has five years at the BBC in her CV.

Tim probably only has £400k on offer; is that enough to interest Jane Turton, CEO of the ever-growing All3 Media ? She's worked at Granada, Carlton, ITV, BBC Worldwide and more, with a start in auditing for PWC.  Also at All3 is Sarah Geater, as COO and Chair of PACT, and Angela McMullen, as CFO.

The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can face a select committee, in Westminster or the UK, on their own, and come out unscathed.
