The BBC is a least consistent in arguing it doesn't have a handle on the structure of the behemoth, with yet another Freedom of Information enquiry casually biffed.
Q "I would like to understand the corporate structure behind the BBC, for example, the departments
and what departments report to what."
A "Due to the size and changing nature of the BBC we do not have an organisational chart for the entire organisation."
They first offered this denial in 2011. It was repeated in 2017, and again last year.
It would be awful if there was really such a chart, hidden for nine years.
