The power of the press
Times Radio launches tomorrow. Gillian Reynolds, in The Sunday Times, makes it her Radio Pick Of The Day. The Sunday Times features an interview with Times Radio Editorial Director and Times Radio Breakfast Presenter Stig Abell about how he recruited Mariella Frostrup to Times Radio over a pint of Guinness. In the Sunday Times News Review, Stig Abell's column, The Explainer, now ends "Stig Abell is a presenter on Times Radio ". In the Sunday Times Magazine, Decca Aitkenhead interviews Times Radio presenter John Pienaar, The Sun on Sunday features an interview with Michael Portillo, which happens to mention the possible impact of Times Radio on British politics, and that Michael Portillo is a presenter, who will be submitting his ideas for political coverage in the station to Times Radio producers, via a Times Radio What's App group.
