A number of readers report feelings of unease in the developing role of Clive Myrie within BBC News.
In last night's 10pm bulletin, he was used, untitled, as a sort of "Correspondent, Black UK", telling us, over a two minute answer to Huw Edwards, what the black community wants to see in terms of Government action in response to the weekend's protests.
It has to be better to find, assess, and present opinions through other styles of reporting. It's hard to imagine a BBC correspondent coming to Huw's table to tell us what, for example, "old people" think, or "drivers" think, or "young people" think. Did Clive offer, or was he asked ?
