The Monday edition of the 6 O'Clock News on BBC1 topped the channel's ratings for the week beginning 13th April, at just under 7.8m.
BBC Director of Content Charlotte Moore says that overall, BBC television is up +44% since lockdown, and the number of 16-34s tuning in is up by 25%.
