Possibly a little heretic, but here goes. I thought One World, Together At Home was over-thought and over-produced. A very respectable average of 5.4m stayed with the two hours. Three presenters, covering all your diversity angles except disability, sticking largely to a worthy script in a large tv studio; it had the feel of a fundraiser without raising funds. Executive produced for indie Two Four by David Brindley, who, until November, was a BBC employee. Two Four is part of ITV Studios.
Let's hope Thursday's all UK offering, a real fundraiser, is less pious and more relaxed.
