The readers of the Daily Mail may be retrospectively grateful that John Humphry's previous commitments to BBC rules prevented him from being more than an occasional contributor to their preferred organ.
Four weeks into to his new tenancy as a Mail regular, he's used up most of his themes, and his latest effort combines them all into a demonstration that his attitudes are now absolutely both COMPLETE COMMON SENSE and totally in line with the paper he serves.
