There's a welcome back to the BBC for Nicki Sheard, who left its comforting bosom in 2013. Nicki, a Procter & Gamble alumni like her new boss Tim Davie, is joining BBC Studios as Chief Marketing Officer.
Nicki has a BA in biology from Keble, Oxford and a masters in genetics from Harvard. She spent two years with McKinsey before joining BBC News in 2008, then started marketing Radio & Music until 2013 - there she helped launched the now-grounded Radio iPLayer.
In her time away, she's marketed for King, online games emporium, and British make-up eponymous brand, Charlotte Tilbury. Here she is aglow at an awards ceremony....
