Alumni of St Peter's College, Oxford will be gathering at an Islington gastropub this evening, for a final event marking the end of former Beeboid Mark Damazer's nine-year tenure as Master. Mark is 64, so may still be available for new gigs - where might he end up ?

His next big gig: delivering the annual Tolkien lecture at King Edward's School, Birmingham, at the end of November. BBC DG Lord Hall is a former pupil - might the duo be getting back together ?

The new master is Professor Judith Buchanan, who is an expert in films of Shakespeare's plays and silent movies.
