Do we detect a little hunkering down at BBC Studios ? This year, the Executive Board has lost two women - Ann Sarnoff, to Warner Brothers, and Jackie Lee-Joe, to Netflix. Last week, Paul Dempsey, who was interim CEO at the old Worldwide, was re-branded from President, Global Markets, to President, Global Distribution. This apparently requires that he is based in New York, and it wouldn't be a bad bet to say his take-home pay rises as a consequence. But we will never know.
Meanwhile, is Tim Davie CBE, a failed candidate for CEO of the Premier League, still scouring the jobs vacant pages ?
