The BBC has won the tender to produce BBC Sports Personality of the Year for the next three years.
The 'Compete and Compare' process was chaired by sports production consultant Jackie Myburgh. From 2013 to 2018, Jackie was Controller of Business BBC Children's. From 2010 to 2013 she was Head of Production, BBC Sport.
