Shanker's back

The transcript of Kuenssberg v Johnson is worth a read, as not all of the discussion was broadcast.  Here's a section on the backstop which made my heart sink.

"There was a very good report just today by Shanker Singham and many others looking at the modalities of how to do this. This is something that had been worked on extensively for the last three years."

Shanker, the Uber-networked Svengali of Rock Hard Brexit, bills himself as CEO of Competere. His twitter account re-tweeted this a couple of days ago, from the 'educational charity', the IEA.

"The BBC should be subject to competition law like other broadcasting organisations. For example, allowing the BBC to have 75 per cent of the televised news market would not be tolerated in relation to any other provider!"
