Broadcast (paywalled) tells us that BBC Scotland's flagship newshour, The Nine, is returning an average audience smaller than the population of Kirkintilloch.
It started with 470,000 viewers (1.9% available audience) in late February, but now averages 22,000 (0.1%). This is less than 10% of the 250,000 who've tuned into BBC1 Scotland’s Ten O’Clock News over the same period.
