Shortage of imagination

BBC1's (or is it BBC2's ?) flagship arts show "imagine..." has racked up close to 200 episodes. Has it suffered the apparently-logical fate of the Radio 4 semi-spiritual show "Something Understood" ?

That's been cancelled by Radio 4 on the grounds that it has such an extensive back catalogue that no-one can remember any of them, and thus they can be repeated endlessly through time.

Currently, there are only three editions of "imagine..." in iPlayer, about Ginger Baker, from 2015, Anish Kapoor, from 2009, and Howard Hodgkin, from 2006.  On air, you can see a programme about Shirley Bassey, from 2009, on the flagship arts channel BBC4.
