The Controller of Radio 3, Alan Davey, may be tempted to blog about audience figures again, after his last essay in August 2016, "Radio 3 reach soars with the birds". Then it stood at 2.20m. For the first quarter of 2019, it's up 6% year-on-year, to 2.04m. Petroc Trelawny has added 55k at breakfast.
Classic FM is down 5% year-on-year, to 5.3m. We'll see what Scala Radio does to all this in the next quarter.
