We've mentioned changes at Radio Wales before, with Good Morning Wales soon to be ditched in favour of a new Claire Summers show (will it be a 'magazine' or 'proper news and current affairs' ?). Now it's reported that two-headed Good Evening Wales is being biffed, too, with a new drivetime news show starting an hour later, at 5pm, with a single host, Gareth Lewis.
A BBC spokeswoman told Wales Online "Last month BBC Radio Wales announced its new-look line-up, with a new all-speech breakfast news programme launching next month. We’re committed to delivering news to the widest audience in Wales seven days a week, with Claire Summers - one of the nation’s best-loved journalists - at the heart of the radio station’s new breakfast programme."
