BBC Scotland's share of viewing in Scotland across its first four weeks has been put at 3.5%. That's higher than the Ofcom forecast of 2.14%. The flagship weeknight news behemoth, the Nine, averaged 1.4% share - the lowest single edition averaged 4,600 viewers, and the highest 105,000 (when the Scottish Cup semi-final draw was live).
A BBC spokesman said the new channel has reached 28% of Sottish audiences during its first month, putting it at number 6 in the league table of digital channels. BBC Scotland is available on most sets across the UK - for February, it recorded average weekly viewing of 1 minute, a 0.07% share.
