The direction of travel does not look good for MotherFatherSon, the latest drama from the pen of Tom Rob Smith, who previously brought the BBC 'London Spy'.
Tom spent some time wooing Richard Gere to appear in his first-ever smaller screen drama. It's a BBC Studios product, without obvious direct financial support from a partner. The first episode attracted 1.12m (a 5.8% share of the available audience). The second was watched by an average 870k - 4.6% share.
