Career path framework ?

It's unlikely that there's a book on it, yet, but if you can get odds on Kamal Ahmed, being the next Director of BBC News, it could well be worth a bet. Kamal, yesterday annouced as Editorial Director, was an applicant for the top job in News after the departure of James Harding, and, although he lost out to Fran Unsworth, the interview would have introduced him formally to DG Lord Hall.

Currently Lord Hall's 15-strong Executive Board has just one member of colour, in Strategy chief Gautam Rangarajan.
