If Huw Edwards had an agent, I'm sure he or she would be delighted with the headline in The Sun's Bizarre column: HUW SEXY THING: BBC News anchor Huw Edwards, 56, becomes sex symbol after shedding three stone.
It comes after comedian Ross Noble, in Have I Got News For You, suggested the sexual frisson around Pippa Middleton at William and Kate's wedding, had moved to Huw at Harry and Meghan's do.
Huw has been doing boxing training at Clinton McKenzie's gym in Peckham at least since August last year, aiming to get back to a fighting weight of around 13 stone. (Clinton's son, Leon, was with Huw on the News Channel two weeks ago). The potentially sallow complexion of a thinner man has been eased by breaks in the Alps and Canaries. In four days from May 18, he tweeted seven pictures of himself.
