Sometimes it seems as though the odd word has dropped out in the transfer of an ad to the BBC Jobs website. On the other hand, it could be just that they made no sense in the first place....
As Learning Design Manager, you will lead a small team of Learning Designers in helping the BBC Academy to think differently about digital learning. You will champion new ways of thinking looking at how best to design and deliver learning based on desired outcomes and how people learn. You will have a hands-on role in a team who will be to work closely with our trainers, business stakeholders and learners to identify learning needs. You and your team will work as product experts for learning, representing the user in how they learn and supporting subject matter experts in finding the best way in which to deliver their expertise. You will lead at the outset of blended projects to establish learning objectives and business outcomes, research the user and design, propose and develop innovative and creative learning solutions based upon your findings. The solutions will represent a blend of learning channels and will vary in scope and scale depending on need, working closely with our content producers in their delivery. As a team leader you will not inspire your team to think differently but you have a clear delivery plan across multiple complex projects.
