After all those toe-to-toes in the late 90s between Chris Evans and Controller Matthew Bannister about working Fridays on Radio 1 Breakfast, current Controller Ben Cooper is giving Nick Grimshaw Fridays off from June.
How this will affect Mr Grimshaw's take home pay - currently between £350k and £399k - won't have to be disclosed til July 2019.
