The Xfactor returned to win Saturday night for ITV with 6.2m viewers, a 32% share, according to the overnight figures. It was, however, the lowest rating for a launch show since 2005.
Over at the BBC, the chances of Len getting four 10s and a second series for Partners In Rhyme are receding.
Saturday's edition was watched by just 1.21m, a 9% share.
