Beverley Tew, 18 years in the BBC, has followed a route now well-trodden. She's working as 'programme director' at Burberry.
Bev - you may not call her that - is a procurement specialist, which means so much more than cheaper photocopying paper. She left Auntie in 2015, and since February this year has been working as a Crown Representative in the Cabinet Office, where she handles relationships with former BBC tech supplier Atos.
At Burberry, she'll just about overlap with the outgoing COO John Smith, former finance director at the BBC. But she'll miss Julian Payne, Burberry's VP for PR and Corporate Relations. The former BBC spinner now looks after the reputation of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
