The Telegraph seems to have the full lowdown on the new unitary board that will run the BBC under the new Royal Charter...and it seems to have a format that Lord Hall indicated he could stomach back in June.
The Government will appoint the Chairman and four others. The four will presumably have some responsbility for representing England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The new Chairman will in turn lead the appointment of five non-BBC members. (The current BBC Executive has six non-executive directors).
The BBC will supply four members - DG Lord Hall plus, I'm betting, his deputy Anne Bulford and Director of News James Harding. The fourth place will be decided by a bake-off of churros between Charlotte Moore, Director of Content, and James Purnell, who will probably be Director of Everything Else You Can Think Of by the time the new board is in place.
