Not big in America
Variety tells us that the first five episodes of the Evans/LeBlanc Top Gear on BBC America averaged 379,000 viewers, calculated by the Nielsen Live-Plus-Three system. That adds the live figure to those who caught up over the following three days. It's better than the network’s primetime average, but well below previous seasons. The last Clarkson/Hammond/May series was getting closer to 800k under the same methodology.
