Broadcast has a review of audience figures from January to May. It says "ITV's Good Morning Britain (580,000/15%, 6am-8.30am) is down just 0.7%. BBC Breakfast (6am-9.15am) remains well ahead, averaging 1.5 million/38% – up 3.9% on last year."
The Daily Mail, on April 10, in a piece on GMB wrote "Over the past year there has been a five per cent increase in viewing figures and the programme gets peak audiences of more than a million."
Piers Morgan joined GMB to co-present three days a week starting in November last year.
