The Yentob leisure trousers - long-rumoured on social media, and occasionally on view in the countryside - finally made it onto our screens last night, at the end of his homage to Antony Gormley.(Last week, Venice for Howard Jacobson - this week Florence, for a chat with Antony. Alan has also adopted the John Simpson technique of holding a pen while interviewing, which clear indicates the depth of his learning).
This value-for-money edition of Imagine also featured a specially-composed soundtrack, by Chris White. Still to come in the series, a profile of architect David Chipperfield, who, spookily, designed Antony Gormley's studio off York Way in King's Cross.
