How incentives work

Just over 1 in fifty of staff working for the BBC News Division at below senior management level got a bonus last financial year. The average lump was £843, which, after tax, ain't much. The total shared out was £137,409.  Tim Davie's annual bonus as CEO of BBC Worldwide for 2013/14 was £231,000.
