The annual report from MG ALBA, the BBC's partner in delivering Gaelic, country and western, football and rugby union tv channel, Alba, claims an 2% increase of weekly reach in Scotland - up to 751,000.
I presume this figure is still calculated by market researchers - Alba does not subscribe to BARB, the industry standard for measuring tv audiences, despite its position on Freeview, cable and satellite channels. Maybe the slot will be freed up, post-referendum.
Not all blue and white on the Alba map - reach within the Gaelic population
was 72%, down from 75.3% in the previous year.
