A high-living chum enquires about cocktails at the Langham Hotel, after Fiona Bruce tells the Radio Times that she occasionally takes one, "just one", when she's reading both the 6pm and 10pm BBC News bulletins. Here's the current, award-winning selection at the hotel's Artesian Bar.

At £16.50, they're all above the BBC expenses limit for dinner away-from-base - and the Langham isn't far enough from Broadcasting House to trigger a claim.  Personally I'll now have to avert my gaze when Fiona's on the Ten, telling me more and more about some useless information, when she may well have downed a Swanky Hanky Panky.
