Competitive master

Joy at Selwyn College, Cambridge, with their University Challenge team beating the big boys of Manchester University 190-160 in the first round. They have the enthusiastic backing of their Master, former BBC big cheese Roger Mosey. He's on an alumni tour in the far east, but news of the victory was posted pretty promptly on the College's now-highly-active website. This is partly down to the fact that the show is pre-recorded, but the text bears some BBC inside knowledge - "University Challenge is usually the most-watched programme of the week on BBC Two, with around 3 million viewers per episode."
