The Village, on BBC1, finished at 4.1m viewers. Endeavour, on ITV, pulled in average of 4.9m, over a longer period. Catch-up will probably bring them closer.
The battle between Britain's Got Talent and The Voice is a little like an end of season match with nothing to play for: this week, BGT scored 10.1m, and The Voice 7.9m - allowing both shows to claim marginal improvement, in audience, if not content. A Dutch lift act on BGT; Jay Aston and Danny Foster on The Voice - anyone know what sort of fee they all got ?
Meanwhile Ian Burrell in The Independent tells tales of "The Pit" (Aka Dr Evil's Volcano News Lair), and how staff are being policed when they may be in shot the background of BBC News.
